Artist Watch: Bindi Cole
She’s the next Tracey Moffatt I reckon! I met Bindi recently at the ANU Photographies Conference where we chatted a little about ‘making good’ in a very competitive industry. Seems to me that she’s on track with some interesting commentary on what it means to be Aboriginal. This show “Post Us” follows her recent “Not really Aboriginal” exhibition shown at both the CCP and as part of the Next Wave Festival. If you’re in Melbourne, check out her upcoming exhibition at Boscia Galleries in Flinders Lane:

Otherwise you can also look at some of Bindi’s more commercial work on her Flickr site.
